Who doesn’t love a glass of eggnog at a party? Our holiday drink hack for eggnog is substituting the eggs and cream with some silken tofu! While that’s a little scandalous, it’s also genius!
It alway feels like party season is in full swing by the third week of December. It’s no less true for ourselves – we’re in a dither for our Secret Santa party tomorrow! Guess what holiday drink will show up at that shindig? This easy peasy eggnog!
It makes us kind of sad that some of our favourite holiday drinks only show up around Christmas and so we make up for that by enjoying them more than once! Having a quick, easy and healthy eggnog recipe is a bonus, especially when it tastes delicious!
- 1/2 cup silken tofu
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2tbsp organic brown cane sugar (or other sweetener)
- 1/2tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4tsp almond essence
- 1/8tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8tsp ground cinnamon
- To make the eggnog blitz together all the ingredients together in a blender.
- Pour into four tall shot glasses (spike them if you desire) and chill for a few hours before serving.
